She said, “I work the night shift.” Our local Starbucks is now open 24 hours with the drive-thru. As I asked her how she liked it, her appearance already revealed the answer as she said, “It’s great for working but terrible for my life, I get no sleep anymore.” She looked dim, disheveled and out of sorts. It takes a toll on us when we are not synchronized with the natural cycle of day and night.
